MiSO · Made Inside, Shared Outside

A year at ArtisA includes working in MiSO, our creative program for women inside KIA, Aruba's correctional institute. You help with workshops in embroidery, jewellery and textile, always together with our team and mentor artists. You need to be comfortable working inside a prison and to follow its safety and privacy rules.

Are you OK to go into the correctional facility (KIA) to work in the MiSO project? *
Required for this call.
Can you get a certificate of good conduct (criminal record check) from your country? *
Needed to work in schools, with young people and inside the correctional facility.
Would you feel comfortable helping with creative workshops, after-school programs (Art-X-Plosion) and artistic activities in galleries, schools and correctional facilities? *
Would you feel comfortable welcoming visitors, explaining artworks, helping with art sales, gallery upkeep and administrative tasks? *
Living together

Volunteers share an apartment, and because accommodation costs are high, also a room.

Is sharing a room OK for you? *
Do you smoke? *
Extra support optional

We give priority to young people with fewer opportunities. Do you feel you faced at least one of these barriers compared to your peers? Tick any that apply and tell us more, so we can arrange the right support. This step is optional and confidential.
